8.   Decolorized Japanese frog

    Although ordinary Japanese frog is green colored, sometimes it appears to be decolorized.      It is due not to mutation, but to environmental change.      So, it may return to be green colored again in proper envireoment.

9.   Omphacite (so called "Blue Jadeite")

    Himekawa river in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan is jadeite (jade) producing area, but it is rarely found now. In around 1990, I found Omphacite which is called Blue Jadeite generally.    It is shown in the following photograph.

10.   White Jadite

    White jadeite (jade) also was collected at Himekawa river in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan in around 1985.     It looks like a mountain which may be seen in the Swiss Alps as shown in the following photograph.
